Vietnam has simplified entry rules and eliminated the requirement to provide vaccination certificates and the need to undergo quarantine.

Vietnam allowed entry into the country only with a PCR test

Until March 16, Vietnam had rules according to which it was possible to visit the country only upon presentation of a vaccine passport or a certificate of recovery from coronavirus, as well as passing a seven-day quarantine or three-day self-isolation. This was reported by ATOR.

Now, for entry, it will be enough to provide a negative result of a PCR test made no earlier than 72 hours, or an express test made no earlier than 24 hours before arrival. Children under 2 years of age are exempt from tests.

It is specified that you can come to the country without a certificate. In this case, it is possible to take a rapid test when entering Vietnam or a molecular PCR test at your own expense within the first 24 hours after arrival. At the same time, until the results are received, it is necessary to be in isolation at a pre-booked place. In the event of a positive result, the traveler must report this to the local health authority.

The requirement remains to complete a medical declaration before entering Vietnam, as well as health monitoring using the PC-COVID mobile application upon arrival.

Russian tourists can stay in Vietnam without a visa for 15 days.
