The work at the event began with an exhibition of representatives of Kamchatka brands: the Tymlat fish processing plant presented its products “Omega-3”, the stand “Take care of Kamchatka”, the center for the reproduction and conservation of rare species of birds of prey “Falcon Center Kamchatka” showed their work.

After visiting the exhibition the first guests welcomed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Vice Speaker of the Russian State Duma Irina Yarovaya.
“We know a lot about Kamchatka, but it's impossible to know everything about it for sure. This is a region with an inexhaustible history, natural beauty and one of the most ecologically clean corners of our planet. Kamchatka is also an important Russian outpost in the Far East. The tourism sector here is becoming a powerful engine in the development of the entire region, the flow of guests is growing every year, turning Kamchatka into a major international tourist center,” said Sergey Lavrov.
The Russian Foreign Minister also stressed that Kamchatka — the country's leader in the extraction and processing of bioresources and expressed confidence that the region's export specialization could be the introduction and development of biotechnologies in the production of popular products such as collagen, Omega-3.
“I confess that today I was really surprised by this stand, where a Russian drug made from wild Kamchatka salmon was presented. And this is the clearest example of import substitution in the healthcare sector. Sergey Lavrov noted.
Vladimir Solodov, Governor of the region, spoke in detail about the potential of the region and its development prospects.
The emphasis of the speech was made on the uniqueness of Kamchatka, its natural resources, beauty and original culture of the peoples living here. The prospects and investment attractiveness of Kamchatka, its tourism and recreational potential, the formation of this region as a transport and energy hub, the introduction of new modern technologies as a region of gastronomic diversity were also noted.
In addition, the governor paid attention to the history of Kamchatka – the expedition of V. Bering, the victory over the Anglo-French squadron of 1854 in the Crimean War and the Kuril landing, which put an end to one of the bloodiest wars of the 20th century.
Vladimir Solodov in his speech spoke about how important it is for his region to expand international relations and expressed confidence that cooperation with friendly countries will only be strengthened.
The environmental component and the implementation of projects related to green energy become strategic for Kamchatka and green economy. This is reflected in various projects, such as the “Ecumene” project, which set the standard for respect for the environment
At the initiative of the governor, a youth environmental forum “Ecosystem. Protected area. «…what kind of values we instill in our youth will depend on what kind of world we will live in» – said Vladimir Solodov. The nuances of the gastronomic component of the Kamchatka cuisine were presented by Leonid Gelibterman, President of the International Center for Wine and Gastronomy. According to him, in every region of our country, tourists want to try dishes from local products.
Kamchatka cuisine has the richest potential, it is unique and has a wide variety of delicacies and culinary traditions. Mr. Gelibterman spoke about this through the prism of the Gastrocamp project, which took place in 2022 in Kamchatka. Many chefs, restaurateurs and local producers have gone through this project and have been able to take a fresh look at familiar dishes and products.
The result of the project was the formation of the “Kamchatka Menu”, which is based on the use of local products. Dishes and drinks from the created menu are offered to regional cafes, restaurants, clubs, bars. In Moscow, by the way, you can try the Kamchatka menu at Bosco Cafe.
At the presentation, the guests were offered dishes from cold appetizers to alcoholic cocktails made from products of local producers, which are specially were brought to Moscow for the event.
