Tour operators: citizens of Belarus began to go on vacation more often to Russia

Tourists from Belarus, previously focused on Europe and Asia, began to actively come to Russia again, reports RTN.
“Now, due to visa and geopolitical reasons, views tourists and travel companies turned towards their eastern neighbor. The marketing efforts of the Russian tourism administration in cooperation with Belarusian colleagues greatly contribute to this,” the publication notes.
In 2022, just over 136 thousand organized tourists from Russia visited Belarus. And 78,150 Belarusian citizens left Belarus for Russia through the tourism industry. By the way, this is the second outbound market in terms of volume; more often, Belarusians traveled only to Turkey.

As travel agencies emphasize, the most popular demand among tourists is for short trips to St. Petersburg. This city has replaced Lvov and Prague, the publication notes.

Also in the top are tours to Moscow – by train and bus. The price of a 4-day trip to St. Petersburg or Stoly on the Belarusian market is approximately the same – about 120 dollars. Tours to Kaliningrad and the Golden Ring are in demand.
In the summer, Belarusians go on vacation to the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory – Anapa, Gelendzhik, Sochi.
A completely new offer has appeared on the market – treatment and relaxation in Russian sanatoriums. Tourists go to health resorts not only in Kislovodsk or Gelendzhik, but also in the Tver and Ryazan regions.
River cruises from Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and other cities are called a new and very interesting direction for traveling to Russia by travel agencies.
