“The government is extending the program for subsidizing flights on socially significant routes in the Far East for another 3 years. Aviation is a special topic for this macro-region, which the president has repeatedly spoken about, emphasizing the importance of connecting the Far Eastern regions with each other, covering as many directions, cities, districts as possible with air traffic, , ”he said during a meeting with vice-president Prime Ministers on Monday, Interfax reports.
As Mikhail Mishustin emphasized, in 2022 more than 350 thousand citizens bought preferential tickets, the number of subsidized routes increased to 37. The cost of a one-way flight ranged from 1 thousand rubles. up to 10.7 thousand rubles, depending on the route.
