Philippines launches eTravel, new electronic travel registration system.
The new system was designed to simplify data entry and collection. eTravel has an electronic version of the paper arrival card that travelers must present when entering the Philippines to clear immigration. Registration on the new platform is free. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the representative office of the Department of Tourism of the Philippines in Russia and the CIS.
The Department of Tourism of the Philippines supported the abolition of the old One Health Pass system and the transition to the eTravel electronic arrival card, as well as the full integration of arrival and departure registration government agencies in the system of electronic accounting of travelers. The One Health Pass ceased to function on December 5, 2022.
It is specified that the Philippines is open to travelers from Russia upon presentation of a vaccination certificate or an antigen test result not older than 24 hours, or made upon arrival in the Philippines. There are currently no direct flights between the countries.
