The government will allocate half a billion rubles to reduce the cost of domestic tourism products. This is stated on the website of the department.
“In 2023–2024, half a billion rubles will be allocated for measures to reduce the cost of package tours on domestic Russian routes. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin,” the agency’s website says.
We are talking about a program to support tour operators organizing charter flights within the country. In 2023, 250 million rubles will be allocated from the budget for these purposes. The same amount is provided for in 2024.
The government has been implementing this program since 2021 as part of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”. In 2022, 70 Russian regions took part in it. The program is valid until 2024 inclusive.
