Air tickets

The majority of OneTwoTrip users traveled around the country during the November holidays: 84% of tickets were purchased in Russia (last year, the share of domestic destinations was 88%), and 16% flew abroad.

The top 3 domestic destinations included Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. 33% of the total number of air tickets were bought to the capital, which is 5% less than a year ago. The share of the Northern capital amounted to 14.3%, and over the year interest in St. Petersburg grew by almost one and a half times. And in Sochi, 8.1% of orders were placed, which is 20% less than in 2021, when the southern city was ranked second.

In addition, the list includes Kazan (demand increased by 70% over the year), Mineralnye Vody (the popularity of the destination has not changed), Yekaterinburg (became in demand by a third), Kaliningrad (-30%), Makhachkala (-10%), Samara ( interest in the city increased 2.5 times) and Ufa (-10%).

Abroad, Russians most often booked flights to Istanbul, which accounted for 11.0% of all international destinations – it is interesting that the popularity of the city has decreased almost three times over the year. Dubai was in second place: almost the same number of flights were made there as to Turkey, 10.6%, but this is three times more than in 2021. In third place is Yerevan with a share of 6.1%, which has become less interesting for Russians by 30%. The list also includes Almaty (a 3.5-fold increase in popularity) and Astana (a year ago, the city was not in the top).

Railway tickets

The top 3 popular railway destinations are similar to the air rating: the train most often traveled to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Almost a quarter of travelers, or 24.2%, came to the capital, which is 10% less than a year earlier. 10.6% was purchased in St. Petersburg (the share decreased by 20% compared to the previous November). But the popularity of Sochi has doubled, and the share of the city was 4.0%.

The top 10 also includes Krasnodar (interest in the destination increased by 40%), Rostov-on-Don (+40 %), Nizhny Novgorod (+10%), Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Kazan (+10%) and Yaroslavl.

Hotels

During the long November weekend Most hotels booked by OneTwoTrip users were in Moscow and St. Petersburg — 16.9% and 13.2% respectively.

The popularity of both capitals increased by 15% and 25%. Third place was taken by Adler with 3.7% of bookings, interest in the city was 20% higher than in 2021.

Kazan, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Esto-Sadok and Nizhny Novgorod were also on the list of popular destinations . Demand for accommodation in the capital of Tatarstan increased by 10%, while in Esto-Sadok it decreased by 30%. The popularity of other cities has not changed. Interestingly, foreign cities also appeared in the rating: Russians actively booked accommodation in Dubai (doubled growth) and Minsk (+40%).
