According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, Russia entered the top three countries in terms of inbound tourist flow to Israel.
In total, from January to March of this year, more than 916 thousand tourists visited Israel, which increased by 199% more than in the first quarter of 2022, but 13% less than in 2019. This is reported by the Izvestia portal.
The top three is as follows:
- USA (246 thousand tourists);
- France (59, 2 thousand);
- Russia (53.5 thousand).
Tourist flow from Russia increased by 241% compared to January-March 2022, but remained below the first quarter of 2019 by 23%.
