The rains in the Crimea did not affect the rest of tourists on the peninsula. Nevertheless, the leadership of the region asks tour operators and travelers to postpone sea excursions and trips to the mountains. This was reported in the press service of Rostourism.
“According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan, no incidents and problematic issues from accommodation facilities have been recorded. Resort towns and tourist facilities of Crimea are available for guests and residents,” the message says, Interfax reports.
As recalled by the Federal Tourism Agency, a rain front is now passing through the peninsula, the heaviest precipitation has been recorded in the Belogorsky and Simferopolsky districts (the village of Perevalnoye), as well as in the Bolshaya Alushta region.
“We are in constant contact with the management of hotels, sanatoriums, boarding houses, with the leadership of municipalities, everyone is working as usual according to the situation. Each accommodation facility has backup power and water supplies. We have already been through difficult weather situations before – we have experience. All services are working, all forces and means are present,” said Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.
The Federal Tourism Agency added that the Ministry of Tourism of Crimea asks tourists and heads of excursion and tourist organizations excursion service in the mountain-forest area, on sea transport and be careful on the roads.
