Reshetnikov: accommodation in Russian hotels will become more expensive by an average of 8%

“In general, according to statistics, the increase in the cost of living in 3-5 star hotels is about 8%. These are the numbers of March of this year to March of the last. If we take data from public platforms, the average cost of staying in a 3-star hotel in July this year will be a little more than 4.7 thousand rubles, and this is also 8% more than a year ago. The data of statistics and platforms coincide on average,” he said, Interfax reports

As Maxim Reshetnikov emphasized, in 4-5 star hotels, prices increase on average by 15%. “This is taking into account the shortage of the premium segment and taking into account the fact that wealthy tourists are more likely to choose holidays in Russia, which gives an increased demand for 4-5 stars,” the minister said.
