Indian authorities have ordered airlines to remove passengers who do not wear masks on the plane from flights.

This order was issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of India. It is also noted that a passenger who does not wear a mask during the flight after repeated warnings will be considered as “unruly”. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

In addition, the agency granted air carriers the right to prohibit “unruly passengers” from flying for an indefinite period. “Furthermore, airport operators should levy fines on those who violate COVID-19 protocols”, a document from the General Authority of Civil Aviation of India.
