China, Chongqing
Combining dense housing with rail links in a city of 30 million people is quite a challenge. The Chongqing city authorities found a compromise: they launched a monorail through a 19-story building. Its residents are comfortable: they literally left the kitchen – and immediately got into the car, because the Litsyba station is located at the level of the 6th-8th floors. No rumble, according to the locals, no. Thanks to special equipment, trains make no more noise than a standard dishwasher.
Chepe (Chihuahua al Pacífico)
Mexico
Tourist-passenger train runs from Chihuahua to Topolobampo , Port of Los Mochis. The route winds its way through the Sierra Tarahumara, passing through 37 bridges and 86 tunnels. The railway crosses the branches of the Copper Canyon and even itself, gradually rising to a height of 2400 meters above sea level near the Divisadero observation deck.
Deccan Odyssey
India
The luxury train (actually a 5-star hotel on wheels) runs on six routes, allowing you to see the most important sights of the country. The lineup includes, in addition to regular passenger carriages, four presidential suites, a business center, a spa, two restaurants, a bar, a gym and a library.

Rovos Rail
South Africa
Each of the four Rovos Rail, traveling through Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania, is equipped with restored historic carriages. There are two salons, an open balcony, a car with panoramic windows, a restaurant with teak columns. Suite accommodation ranges from simple with a sofa to royal Victorian and half wagon sizes.
Glacier Express
Switzerland
The Glacier Express runs between St. Moritz and Zermatt, passing 291 bridges and 91 tunnels and the 2033 m high Oberalp Pass. The train is called the slowest express train in the world. The journey lasts 7.5 hours. Through the huge panoramic windows you can admire the snow-capped peaks, gorges, viaducts. The train has an audio guide with route information in six languages.

Belmond Andean Explorer
Peru
South America's first elite train has multiple route options through the Andes. One of them is a three-day trip from Cusco to Lake Titicaca and on to Arequipa. The eye can be pleased with the beautiful view outside the window, the ear with the pianist playing in the car Piano Bar Car, and inside a pisco sour cocktail mixed in the saloon car.
Jasper —Prince Rupert Train

The train runs between the cities of Jasper and Prince -Rupert. Equipped with exclusive Panoramic Dome carriages (with a glass dome). Rail tour operators, in particular the Rocky Mountaineer, often use this train on their routes through the Rocky Mountains.
