“In Russia and Indonesia, there is a special mechanism in which officials discuss the banking and financial systems, and now they are negotiating with each other on this issue,” he said in in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the ambassador, the launch of the payment system will have a positive impact on the Russian tourist flow.
Answering the agency's question about sanctions against the MIR system, Jose Antonio Morato Tavares noted, that “this is one of those points that can affect the decision review process.” “I very much hope that we will host PEACE in Indonesia,” the ambassador concluded.
