The Immigration Bureau of the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an official clarification of the rules governing e-Visa validity periods.
“The period of continuous stay in India for Russian citizens on electronic tourist visas should not exceed 90 days, and the total duration of stay in one calendar year should not exceed 180 days,”, the Russian Embassy in India said.
It is clarified that the innovation applies to previously issued e-visas, and it is recommended that Russians renew them.
