Electric train ER2K-980 is equipped with wooden benches
A retro train in the style of the USSR is launched from St. Petersburg to Vyborg
On New Year's Eve holidays between St. Petersburg and Vyborg will run a retro train “Lakhta” in the style of the 1970s.
The 10-car electric train ER2K-980, produced 50 years ago, is equipped with wooden benches and white curtains on the windows. They are combined with modern restrooms, USB sockets, ski racks and tea corners.
Travel time will be just over 3 hours. It is longer than on the “Swallow”, but more atmospheric, and also with a large number of stops.
