From August 23, Ethiopia will resume direct flights with Russia.
Flights between Moscow and Addis Ababa will be operated by Ethiopian Airlines with a frequency of three flights per week. Earlier, flights between Russia and Ethiopia were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is expected that the resumption of direct flights will contribute to the growth of interest in Ethiopia among Russian tourists.
According to RIA Novosti, citing Ethiopian Ambassador Alemayehu Tegenu, Ethiopian Airlines ranks fourth in the world in terms of the number of flights to various destinations.
