Emirates and Philippine Airlines announce international partnership

Emirates and Philippine Airlines (PAL) have signed an interline agreement to expand the connectivity for passengers of both airlines to new destinations in their network with connections in Manila or Dubai using a single ticket and baggage check-in.

The mutual interline partnership that has come into effect will provide Emirates customers with access to 19 domestic destinations in the Philippines operated by Philippine Airlines, including Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Cotabato, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo and others, as well as two Asian regional destinations. destinations with transfers in Manila.

Emirates for the first time began flying to Manila in 1990 and has since expanded its network to include Cebu and Clark. The airline currently operates 25 weekly flights to three destinations in the Philippines.

Emirates flights to Manila, Cebu and Clark are operated by modern Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in three-class and two-class configurations. On Boeing 777 flights in three-class configuration, passengers are offered 8 First Class cabins, 42 fully reclining seats in Business Class and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class. Emirates passengers traveling to and from the Philippines can enjoy multiple award-winning services and industry-leading products, including locally-inspired dishes and free drinks, on board and on the ground. With the signing of an agreement with Philippine Airlines, the number of Emirates interline partners has increased to 120. The airline also has codeshare agreements with 27 carriers.
