Azerbaijan Airlines to fly from Moscow to Gayanja

Azerbaijan Airlines has announced the launch of flights on the route Baku-Moscow-Ganja-Moscow-Baku.

“AZAL will fly this route three times a week – on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays,” the carrier said in a statement, Interfax reports. »

It also notes that from March 19, the airline will start operating flights on the route Baku – St. Petersburg – Ganja – St. Petersburg – Baku with a frequency of once a week (on Sundays).

Currently, the airline operates flights Baku-Moscow-Baku and Baku-Petersburg-Baku. The new scheme will be used by the airline for the first time in order to maximize the congestion of the route and not to open separate flights from Ganja to Russian cities.

“From June, one frequency will be added to the flight schedule on both routes – on Wednesdays and Thursdays, respectively. Sale of tickets for flights in both directions is open,” the message says.
