Airbnb, an online accommodation booking service, has banned Russians and Belarusians from using its rental services in all countries of the world.
“Airbnb has suspended operations in Russia and Belarus. This means that bookings for accommodations and experiences in Russia and Belarus have been discontinued, and guests from those countries will no longer be able to book anywhere.”, Airbnb’s website says.
As reported RBC, all bookings in Russia and Belarus from April 4 and later will be canceled. Since the beginning of March, Airbnb has banned users from all countries from renting accommodation in Russia and Belarus.
Since March, the Booking.com service has also suspended its travel services in Russia. Representatives of the company explained this decision by the increasing complexity of doing business in the Russian Federation.
