PJSC Aeroflot and Rostec State Corporation will jointly develop and implement domestic digital products and services for the Russian air transportation industry. The relevant agreement on strategic partnership was signed by the parties within the framework of the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The key vector of cooperation will be the implementation of projects aimed at ensuring the digitalization of the air transportation industry, taking into account the requirements of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 24, 2019 No. – a telecommunications network that ensures the operation of the specified automated information system, to its operator, as well as measures to protect the information contained in it, and the procedure for its operation.
To date, a number of Russian airlines have already successfully adapted and implemented digital products based on Rostec developments in their production and operational activities. The introduction of an automated information system in airlines is carried out with the participation of the RT-Project Technologies holding of the Rostec State Corporation in partnership with Sirena-Travel and RT-Transcom.
“Our automated air transportation system is already used by more than 50 airlines with a total traffic volume exceeding 40 million passengers per year. In early June, Pobeda Airlines joined the users of our Leonardo system, and work continues on the implementation of our IT solution in other Russian airlines. It is important to note that the system is being finalized taking into account the individual requirements of each carrier, guarantees a high level of information security and ensures the uninterrupted operation of the air transport industry in Russia,” said General Director of Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov.
